Earlier this week, Bud Light Platinum announced a year-long partnership with world renowned DJ, Steve Aoki. Select media and fans were invited to attend a private press event after a double-decker bus trip that ended at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The partnership announcement aligned with the news of Aoki’s new album, Neon Future Part 1, as well as his first-ever Madison Square Garden performance on August 16.
Steve Aoki took the microphone to make an impassioned announcement of the show, followed by Director of Bud Light Platinum, Tyler Simpson, who shared the brand’s excitement around the partnership that was facilitated by S.O.T.C. Multimedia Group. Simpson also debuted the new Bud Light Platinum :30 second TV spot featuring Aoki and other Dim Mak DJs. The :30 TV spot will debut during the Latin Billboard Awards, followed by a full media flight set to begin on May 1.
This week was just the kickoff for Bud Light Platinum’s partnership with Steve Aoki as part of the bigger EDM effort this year. Bud Light Platinum will work with Steve Aoki to create unique experiences for customers, media and wholesalers that allows them to engage with Steve and the brand at festivals, listening parties, and online through original digital content created in partnership with Thump.
